Hui Yang

Hui Yang established his lab in 2014 as a Principal Investigator in Institute of Neuroscience, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He got a ph.D. degree in Jinsong Li’s lab, IBCB, CAS, for establishment of the first androgenetic haploid stem cells. He received his Postdoctoral training in Rudolf Jaenisch’s lab, MIT, and applied CRISPR technology on genetically modified mice generation. He and his colleagues are now focusing on the optimization of CRISPR technology, and generation of monkey disease models and tool models with optimized CRISPR technology. In addition, we also study on CRISPR technology, including CRISPR activation, CRISPR new application and gene therapy.
