Arthritis Research & Therapy's new look

Following its recent move to online-only publication, Arthritis Research & Therapy is the latest journal to relaunch on BioMed Central’s new website platform.

The new website is an improved look for the journal, providing an enhanced user experience for our authors and readers.

New features include:

  • Tabbed style browsing – navigate as you would in your usual web browser, quickly and conveniently
  • Editors’ picks – read selected research and review highlights on the journal homepage
  • Streamlined ‘My Arthritis Research & Therapy’ section – sidebar navigation allows you to edit preferences easily and collate your favourite manuscripts

The new and more modern platform will enable the journal to progressively add new functionality and we’re keen to receive your feedback to help make the most of our new look. Arthritis Research & Therapy has always aimed to take full advantage of the many benefits of online publishing; for example, articles in the journal can be shared and published via social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Mendeley.

We will soon be contacting our registered users to ask them to complete an online survey that will gather their thoughts on what online features – such as podcasts and improved article-level metrics – would most benefit the journal, and the rheumatology community. Register now to ensure you receive the survey.  All survey respondents will be entered into a competition to win a Kindle e-book reader
