José A. Godoy is a molecular ecologist and conservation geneticist at Estación Biológica de Doñana (CSIC), Sevilla, Spain. He coordinated the Iberian lynx genome project and is currently investigating lynx population genomics using both contemporary and ancient samples. He also coordinates the genetic management of the Iberian lynx captive and wild populations.
