Bonnie Webster

Dr Bonnie Webster is a researcher at the Natural History Museum (NHM), London. She conducted her PhD at the NHM investigating the mating interactions and hybridisation between Schistosoma haematobium and S. guineensis. She gained her research position at the NHM in 2015 and specialises in schistosome genetic diversity, inter-species interactions and hybridisation and molecular diagnostics. She also has spent a lot of time in the field working in Senegal, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Cameroon, Kenya, Uganda and St Lucia. Bonnie is also an associate editor for Parasites and Vectors.
