Nobel recognition for parasitology

This year, parasitologists have won the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine. William C Campbell and Satoshi Ōmura were awarded the prize “for their discoveries concerning a novel therapy against infections caused by roundworm parasites”. Sharing the 2015 prize is Chinese scientist Youyou Tu “for her discoveries concerning a novel therapy against malaria”.
