Announcing new Open Repository client: Laureate International Universities Network

Open Repository is delighted to announce an agreement with the Laureate International Universities Network to build and host their institutional repository. Laureate is the largest private international network of degree-granting post-secondary institutions located around the world.  The Laureate network comprises over  800,000 enrolled students within 75 institutions in 30 countries throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Over the coming months the Open Repository team will be working with the Laureate repository team to implement a large & expanding multilingual repository, beginning with English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Open Repository builds, hosts and customizes enhanced, DSpace repositories for institutions worldwide, enabling the institution to focus on managing and developing content within their repository. Through Open Repository and Open Repository Lite, clients can choose a package to suit their needs. Open Repository offers clients the full services required to successfully run a repository, while Open Repository Lite offers is aimed at small clients & those from emerging or developing countries.

Open Repository is a DuraSpace Registered Service Provider and is offered by BioMed Central, the Open Access specialist.
