BioMed Central's open access colloquium

On Thursday February 8th, BioMed Central is running an Open Access colloquium at the Royal College of Physicians in London, focusing on the theme of “Quality and Quantity”.
An exciting program of speakers has been assembled, including Richard Smith (former editior of the British Medical Journal) and Ben Goldacre (NHS doctor and author of The Guardian‘s Bad Science column) The event is being recorded, and podcasts of the presentations will be made available soon after the event.

We will also be announcing the winners of the 2006 BioMed Central Research awards at the event, so all in all, it looks set to be a big day -watch this space.
