Saba Masood and Dennis Ougrin

Saba Masood is a Research Assistant working as part of the Youth Resilience Unit at Queen Mary University of London. Saba is an aspiring Clinical Psychologist and was previously an Assistant Psychologist working with young people with complex mental health difficulties. Her previous research has examined Intensive Community Care Services for young people in psychiatric crisis, and digital interventions for Ukrainian children with trauma following the recent invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

Dr Dennis Ougrin is a Consultant Psychiatrist at East London Foundation Trust NHS. He is Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Queen Mary University of London, where he is also the co-director of the Youth Resilience Unit. He is currently the Principal Investigator on an RCT examining the effectiveness of Intensive Community Care Services for young people experiencing psychiatric emergencies. Dennis’s career grant income has exceeded £7 million.
